THURSDAY OCTOBER 12 RIDE
Hold on a minute fellows… What about the Thursday ride? I’m free to ride anytime after 1pm. Maybe you boys can take a long lunch. Come on, step up to the plate, stand up and be counted. If you want to ride like Lance, you got to ride like Lance. Haven’t you heard, only the strong bikers shall inherit the earth. So on that note whose with me…?

Jim, I’m game! I just did a ride out your way this evening, couldn’t find you phone # or house. Came from UC, Troy-Hickman, NKey, Coon Williams, Shaw Town, Marvin Vault, Possum Trot, back through Clayton and home. Little over 36 miles, but I should be able to do another tomorow, if I don’t push too hard.
Scott Sellers, let me know the place and the time you want to ride. I should be to make it after 1pm.

Just looked at the weather, we may have to play it by ear and see what the weather does, and how soon it clears out tomorow. How far are you wanting to ride? High of 56/NNW at 5-10, rain in am, to clear in the evening.

It’s 11:30, looks like no chance of any clearing before dark and a very good chance of showers. As bad as I hate to, I think I’ll wait for better weather prospects (at least sunshine). I work this weekend, but am off Monday and Tuesday of next week. Scott
